This project is presently on hold. We are still negotiating with the IOM autorities, but there is a reluctance from the local authorities to support this venture.
Besides the fact that the Monopoly ferry service is using the two available linkspan in average over the year only about10 % of the time in a day, all (all!) 15 ports in the Irish Sea are blocked for RoRo ships by the User Agreement issued by the IOM government.
The ports are blocked by a ferry company providing a service with two ships in the summer and only one ship for about 6 month in the winter.
